TONY RESULTS!!

I watched the Tony Awards on Sunday.

And I said I would write the differences between my guesses and the actual winners.

Surprisingly, I did better than I thought.

Out of 24 Awards,

I guessed 15 correct!

I did change some of my guesses during the show,

But before the results were shown.

First off:

I thought that the opening performance was absolutely

 FANTASTIC!

Kristin Chenoweth and Alan Cumming were fabulous hosts!

And pretty much all of the performances were great.

And of course, I loved (hands on face)

JOSH GROBAN

If you don't understand the hands on face,

You need to look up Tony Awards and Alan Cumming

Because every time he mentioned Josh Groban,

He freaked out and put his hands on his face.

IT WAS THE BEST!

Out of all of the awards,

I got these ones correct:

Best Orchestrations, Best Choreography

Best Lightning Design in both a Play and a Musical

Best Costume Design in a Play and a Musical

Best Direction in a Musical

Featured Actor in a Play.

Featured Actor in a Musical.

Featured Actress in a Musical.

Actor in a Musical.

Actor in a Play.

Actress in a Play.

Best Musical Revival.

Best Play.

And Best Musical!

It was fabulous and I love it!

Well that is it!

I LOVE IT SO MUCH!

TONY AWARDS 2015!!!!

As a Broadway fanatic

It is one of the best times of the year!

The Tonys!!

For those who are not live theatre fans,

It is the Oscars for Broadway.

And for those who don't know what the Oscars are,

Well... I don't know what to say....

Anyways,

I love the Tonys!

I used to live in Virginia,

And my family and I would take weekend trips to NYC often.

It was so much fun!!!

We would see shows and it was the best!

Sadly, I haven't been to New York in 2 years, 

Which I think is the longest I've been without being in New York since I was probably a toddler.

I'm making my guesses now as to who will win!

And I will post how many I got right (which probably won't be a lot)

Tomorrow!

Update on my sickness,

I have a sinus infection and I am trying to get better.

I've had many before, and the doctor told me that my body should fight it off.

I just feel really lousy right now,

But I should be better soon!

Update on Mara, Daughter of the Nile

I am almost half way done with it.

If I read more than I watched YouTube and Netflix

I'd be done by now. 

But I am enjoying it.

So far I would recommend it,

But it can be a little tricky to focus on at times,

But maybe that's because I'm sick and my mind is elsewhere

Last Update:

I am currently working on Disney Facts for Snow White for my new channel on YouTube.

Stay tuned for that,

I'm hoping it will be better than the last one I did on my old channel.

Anyways,

I hope to get an update on the Disney College Program soon,

NEW THOUGHTS AND MARA

Tonight I'm not feeling really great!

I was feeling fine all day,

But come dinner, I started feeling a little down

A little under the weather.

But, my family had some guests coming for dinner,

So I tried to not let it get bad.

While, I'm feeling ill,

I decided that I would talk a little about what can be seen in the future!

One, I have now created a new YouTube channel under the name KestraMarie

I had one before, but I wasn't impressed with it, so I'm changing some videos

And I will be uploading new ones.

Also, on this blog, I'm hoping to be posting stuff more often,

About many different things.

Finally, come this fall, I'll be posting on both YouTube and here,

All of my DCP adventures!!!!

But this post, I want to write one last thing.

I went to the library this week and got a few books to read.

Currently I am reading an older book:

Mara, Daughter of the Nile

By Eloise Jarvis McGraw

I am only on page 45, but I am enjoying it.

At first, I wasn't sure about it.  

The first couple pages were hard to dive into,

At least for me,

But now, I really like it.

It is about a slave girl, who has almost found freedom.

She has no idea where she was born, or pretty much anything about herself

But, she does know what she wants in life.

As a slave, Mara has some guts with what she does;

She definitely has a mind of her own.

Again, I'm not very far into it, 

But from the back cover summary,

I know she will become a double spy.

It takes place in ancient Egypt.

And it does mention Egypt gods and names and words.

It makes me want to research more about ancient Egyptian myths.

I am so ready to dive into this book.

I will let you know how I like the book in the end.
