I was trying to figure out what to write and I was feeling kinda down about many different things. Which I'd rather not go into details about.
I was sitting at my computer and trying to decide what to write. Apparently I was looking kind of stressed and down. My sister looked over and started typing on my computer.
R U OK? she asked
Not really. I replied. I gave a little explanation. Feelings from worthlessness to stress and not knowing what to write for this blog and feeling lonely and unloved.
The last thing I wrote was though I know these feelings aren't entirely true.
She then deleted the word "entirely".
She told me that what she does when she is feeling down.
I READ IROH QUOTES. THEY CHEER ME UP.
Iroh. As in Uncle Iroh. Zuko's Uncle. Uncle Iroh from Avatar: The Last Airbender.
This first quote that came to my mind was actually a quote Zuko says trying to say something his uncle would say:
“Sometimes, clouds have two sides, a dark and light, and a silver lining in between. It’s like a silver sandwich! So, when life seems hard, take a bite out of the silver sandwich!”
With all this stress in my life and not knowing what to do. I've started to just give up and have all this negative energy fill my life. It hasn't been helping me.
Usually I'm very positive.
I'm optimistic.
Glass is half full kinda girl.
But, negativity has entered my life and taken over.
Yet, after she told me to look at Iroh quotes, I realized that's what I need to do.
With the negative energy, I need to try harder. I need to keep myself active.
I need to start exercising.
I need to drink more water.
I need to take care of myself more.
I need to help my friends but help myself.
I need to live by Iroh quotes.
I need to take a bite out of the silver sandwich.
This was just a small a small thing of what is going on in life,
But I hope it helped someone.
